What we have lived

In the early hours of August 28, 2026, sixteen days after the great solar eclipse, the sky gave an encore: Earth's shadow covered up to 93% of the moon. Not quite a blood moon, but the shadowed part took on those coppery tones you only see during an eclipse.

From the estate it was a gift for early risers: the partial phase began at 4:34 and peaked at 6:12, with the moon already low over the horizon — here in eastern Spain it set while still eclipsed, saying goodbye with the first light of day.

At sunset on August 12, 2026, Spain saw a total solar eclipse again, more than a century after the last one. From the estate it was a near-total experience: the sun sinking towards the mountain horizon, bitten deeper and deeper by the moon, the light turning strange over the valley.

We celebrated it as it deserved: the three eclipse nights booked as one exclusive stay with the jacuzzi as a gift under that sky, and day passes to live it from the pool and the gourmet area, facing the horizon.

Thank you to everyone who shared it with us. And a promise: on August 2, 2027 another great eclipse crosses Spain — this house will still be here, looking up.
